Lab Discoveries uses a platform technology based on stimulating the immune system in-vitro to produce antibodies that are normally not at detectable levels, during the earliest stages of the onset of cancer.

Using its unique immune-stimulation technology platform, the mission of Lab Discoveries is to provide simple, and cost effective blood tests, for the early diagnosis of various cancers, and to identify unique new antibodies for the improved treatment of cancer thus improving the prospects for long-term survival.

The embodiment of the technology is the CimTube, a small test tube with a unique biochemical solution that activates immune cells in-vitro to produce antibodies as early indicators of tumor existence. CimTube can lead to sufficient levels of antibodies to allow detection by conventional test methods such as ELISA. This has created the opportunity for the Company to develop a product line of simple and cost effective diagnostic blood tests directed to the detection of different types of cancer.

CimTube requires only a small sample of blood, involves no radiation, no major discomfort and no biopsy, and can help detect tumors better (and probably earlier) than other detection tools used today.

The procedure includes: collecting a blood sample, incubating the cells in the CimTube, and analyzing it by ELISA; all of which are routine methods used in laboratories today, requiring neither special training of technical staff, nor special equipment.

LD’s technology will also enable the identification of a cohort of new and unique cancer-related antibodies. Early stage tumors, typically cannot be detected by conventional serological tests. Lab Discoveries will be able to reveal the production of anti-tumor antibodies, some of which have never been documented before, thus providing the Company with access to unique antibodies that could be used for targeted diagnostics and therapeutics (both as stand alone antibodies and for drug targeting).
